We are not a chain of stores or a franchise but a small family owned business with a small, very loyal team of staff ~ our internet orders are processed from our only store at the “Home Base” Centre in Christchurch ~ we aim to please and we offer the very best in personal customer service
You can find us at the Home Base Centre which is where Bunnings are! just down the road from the Palms Shopping Mall ~ we have lots of on site parking and are open 7 days a week. Our store in Manchester Street is now closed
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm
Saturdays: 9.00am to 5pm
Sundays: 10am to 5pm
Public Holidays ~ 10am to 5pm
DELIVERY: if you live in Christchurch or surrounding suburbs we have a delivery fee of $5.00 no matter what you order, big or small!! outside of the Christchurch region we have a delivery fee ~ $7.50 for urban/city deliveries and $12.50 for rural deliveries.
All goods are sent from our store in Christchurch ~ please be aware that all products advertised on our web page may not be available for immediate pickup from our shop (somes goods are held in the warehouse & we need to get them in) ~ when you place an order with us we expect that you will receive your goods WITHIN 4-12 working days. If we are unable to supply within this timeframe we will notify you be email with an estimated ETA and you can choose to either continue with your purchase or cancel the order
As we subsidise the courier costs we reserve the right to send goods with whom-ever we choose NOTE: We do not send to PO Boxes
If you need an item urgent please let us know and we will advise you of any applicable costs
PLEASE NOTE: Oversize items such as dog runs, cargo crates, kennels, bird cages & fish tanks do have specific delivery charges, dependent upon where delivery is. We will advise delivery costs prior to despatch and you can either accept or decline to proceed with the purchase
We only send to Mainlaind NZ ~ we do not send overseas
Please be aware that if you have ordered what we class as an "oversize" item such as a parrot cage, dog run or dog kennel we only offer delivery to a main centre – we do not deliver oversize items to rural or Waiheke Island
Orders placed after 2pm on Fridays may not be processed for delivery until Monday morning ~ we always send a receipt and courier tracking details at the end of any transaction, so you will know when to expect your parcel.
The courier companies that we use do require a signature and we ask that you ensure that someone will be available at the delivery address to receive your goods - if you do not require a signature delivery, goods will be delivered at "your risk" please advise us in the comments box on the "checkout" page where you would like to have goods left on your property in the event that no-one is home.
We strongly encourage you to send the goods to an address where you know someone will be there to sign EG a work address !
We guarantee your goods to arrive in undamaged condition! for this offer to be valid you must check your goods on delivery and if damaged the carrying courier must be advised immediately - you MUST NOT sign acceptance of the goods. In the unlikely event that goods are damaged we will offer you either a replacement or full refund.
REFUNDS: if your goods are faulty and cannot be replaced we will happily giive you a refund as per the Consumers Guarantee Act.
However, if you have “changed your mind” or the goods are not as “you expected” or you have purchased the wrong size we will happily either exchange or give you a credit note to use either on-line or in our retail store providing goods are
returned in perfect unused condition with packaging 100% intact within five
working days of being received. This credit is offered at our discretion ~ as per the Consumers Gurantee Act we are not obliged to refund or credit in the above instances
If for some reason you do receive a faulty product please contact us immediately so that we can get it sorted for you ~ we aim to please and do not want unhappy customers!
